Total E&P ASD has its own laboratory for measuring the porosity and density of rock samples. 

The latter allows the connection of standards to the International System of Units (SI).

Laboratory actions:

  • Evaluate the porosity and density of rock samples from the center standards (samples are stored under the same conditions as the standards.)
  • Ensure the metrological traceability of Total E & P ASD standards to the International System of Units (SI)
  • Control the quality of the water in which the standards are immersed by means of analysis (without ISO 17025 accreditation): fluid density, pH, conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, chloride ion and calcium measurement (see photo below).
