The experimental zone

The standards of the physical measurements center are stored in the basement of the analytical platform.

They are different in nature (rock, sand, metal, composite and fluid) and they are stored in tanks made of metal or composite material. The rock standards are the most numerous.

They require a large amount of preparation, which includes sucessive phases of drying and imbibition.

Preparation is carried out in the drying and imbibition workshop located next to the analytical platform.
